5 – 20 February - STUART NAPIER & ARTISTS OF BUDEHAVEN - 'WITH A TWIST'

 

A collection of distorted & bold interpretations of local landmarks, psychedelic silhouettes of rock 'n' roll icons upon vintage vinyl records combined with striking full size ornamental driftwood guitars.  This exhibition will run in conjunction with a wide variety of artistic talents from his friends & colleagues at Budehaven School.

 

 

28 February – 27 March - Seeds of Inspiration

 

An exhibition of the work by the Embroiderers’ Guild Cornwall Branch.

As a taster to this exhibition the EG CB have organised a talk by artist and author Bryan Sentance at The Castle Sunday 27^th Feb 2.00pm – 3.00pm

 

 

2 – 17 April - Exhibition by BCHS, Bude Canal Trust and The Rolle Canal

 

 

23 – 30 April - Exhibition of photography by the Holsworthy Camera Club

 

 

 

7 May / 5 June –  Tidelines  A one-man show by Bude born artist Stuart Thorn.

 

Jon - 6^th May is the exhibition opening and Stuart is having a free to all open evening – do come.

 

 

13 - June  10 July - exhibition of work by Cornish-based Shelagh May; Tom Henderson-Smith, Liz Cleves and Sue Read

 

 

16 July – 12 August - exhibition of work by printmaker Sophie Fordham and other printmakers.

 

It is hoped to run two printmaking workshops in conjunction with this exhibition.

 

 

16 August – 2^nd September the annual Bude Art Society exhibition

 

 

5 September - 2 October, Textile Plus - exhibition of hangings, clothes, etc by 10 of Cornwall’s best textile artists

 

 

10 – 30 October - in the Gallery - show with artists Irene Jones; Jo Pryor and David Brooke

 

 

October in the Blanchminster Room - exhibition and demonstrations by the Bude’s textile group - No Boundaries - – dates to follow

 

 

November – exhibition of school work generated by Treasures from the Earth archaeology project
