At the last full council, it was agreed to support the installation of a 6m mast on Shalder Hill to provide a weather station to enable night flying for the Air Ambulance. Support will also be provided by housing IT equipment off site for the Air Ambulance to use as part of their operations.
We know how valuable the Air Ambulance service is to our community, and any support that can help them continue with their valuable service and vital life line is crucial. We hope this will continue to support them in the future and especially with night time operations.
