The Council have been in discussions with BCCT over the last few weeks, at the last full council it was agreed the council would:
- Offer a grant of £3000 plus a £2000 contingency to cover organisational running costs.
- To continue collaborative working, that current BCCT Board members be invited into the revised Bude Town Team arrangements.
- The Council to take control of commissioning directly consultative support if deemed required.
In addition to this the council also agreed to approve a joint bid developed in conjunction with Bude Area Tourist Board and Bude Coastal Community Team and agree for the Town Council to act as the led organisation.
If successful, funding would be rewarded to the Bude area from the European Regional Development Fund to support the safe return to high streets and help build back better from the pandemic.
