Bude-Stratton Town Council Seeks Providers for Food and Activities Programme 2024

Bude-Stratton Town Council is extending its support for the Time2Move Holiday Programme in 2024, aiming to provide enriching experiences for children in the administrative area. The council invites approved Time2Move providers to deliver Food and Activities Programmes during Easter, summer, and Christmas holidays.

Since 2022, the council has subsidized places for children residing in Bude-Stratton who are not eligible for free school meals, facilitating their participation in the Time2Move Programme. This year, a maximum budget of £30,000 has been allocated across the three holidays.

Providers interested in tendering must meet specific criteria, including being approved Time2Move providers, collaborating with local schools to identify eligible families, offering varied activities, and ensuring accessibility for looked after children. Additionally, providers are encouraged to explore offering holiday employment opportunities, extending care with a breakfast club, and partnering with community groups to enhance cultural diversity.

Tenders should be submitted no later than 5pm on Monday, 26th February, with decisions expected by 4th March. For further details, contact Ian Saltern, Deputy Town Clerk, at isaltern@bude-stratton.gov.uk or 01288 353576.
