The election process for Town Council seats is run by Cornwall Council and is now underway. In order to stand for election, there is a specific process that must be followed.
If you wish to be a candidate at these elections please request a candidate information pack as soon as possible.
These packs contain the required forms and guidance on the election process and are available from the Town Council offices by appointment.
If you prefer, you can download the nomination papers produced by the Electoral Commission that Cornwall Council will be using. Please ensure you put the Ward and Parish in the correct boxes throughout the paper.
(Please note: These papers do not include some information that will be in the packs produced by Cornwall Council.)
You will need to return completed nomination papers to Cornwall Council by hand. Details of where and when to deliver your papers will be shown in the Notice of Election that we will publish on 22 March.
