COMMUNITY WARM ROOMS THIS WINTER
The energy price cap rise due on Oct 1 is set to put the squeeze on all of us, and BSTC is looking to work with local partners to see what can be done to alleviate the pressure on our community this winter.
We have already had a brilliant response to a prior post asking for help and volunteers. Thank you.
Another ask please. This time, a very quick questionnaire to establish the potential need for free, community warm rooms, where you could charge your phone, get a hot drink and access useful information. Only 6 questions, and an estimated completion time of just 1 minute.
750 of you have taken the time to complete the Stratton MIU questionnaire for Cllr Corrigan-Turner – which is really fantastic. We really need a similar response here, too, whether you feel it’s relevant to you or not.
Please help neighbours/friends/family who may not have access to the Internet to fill this in online, too. Alternatively, paper copies are available from the BSTC offices in the Parkhouse Centre.
