Consultation Launched for Katy’s Corner Redevelopment

Community Consultation Launched for Katy’s Corner Redevelopment

We are delighted to announce the launch of a community consultation to gather ideas and feedback for the redevelopment of the vacant area at Katy’s Corner in the Bencoolen play park. This initiative aims to engage local residents and park users in shaping the future of this community space.

Following recent updates to the play area, a portion of Katy’s Corner remains unused. To ensure that any new developments meet the needs of our community, we are inviting everyone to participate in a short survey that will guide the planning and decision-making process.

Councillor Colwill shared, “We believe that the best way to create a space that everyone can enjoy is by involving the community in the planning. We are excited to hear the ideas and suggestions from local residents on how to make the most of this space.”

This survey includes questions about how the space is currently used, what activities and equipment would be beneficial and ideas for enhancing greenery through tree planting. Residents can complete the survey online or via a printed form.

How to Participate:

All feedback must be submitted by 31st August 2024. Your input is invaluable in helping us create a space that reflects the community’s wishes and needs.
