Cornwall Council is reviewing and combining its policies related to housing adaptations and quality to create a single Housing Assistance Policy. The initiative is designed to help improve housing conditions, ensuring homes are safe, energy-efficient and suitable for residents’ needs.
Cornwall Council is particularly interested in hearing from residents who have experienced poor housing conditions and the impact this has had on their health and wellbeing. They are keen to understand what additional support or services could help residents improve the condition of homes, including through adaptations. Your feedback is crucial and will help inform the development of this policy, which promises to bring about positive change.
To have your say, please complete the survey by 23:59 on Sunday 10th November 2024. The feedback collected will be used to refine the policy, with consultation response reports made available after the consultation period ends.
