Update on Bude-Stratton Town Council Car Parks

Bude-Stratton Town Council is updating the parking orders for its car parks.

We want to make it clear that:

• No new charges are being introduced.
• Existing parking charges remain the same — there are no changes to the current rates.

As a small council, we do not have the staff capacity to patrol and enforce the car parks ourselves. To ensure the rules are followed fairly, we are working with Cornwall Council, who will now carry out monitoring and enforcement. Cornwall Council has the legal authority to take action against anyone who does not comply with the terms of the order.

The draft parking order is now available to view, and members of the public may make representations (in support or objection) up to 5 November 2025.
