Monthly Full Council Meetings resumed in September following a one month break in August. On Septembers, agenda was the vacant Councillor position in the Bude Ward of which the Town Council received three applications.
After hearing from all three applicants, the Councillors resolved to co-opt Paul Crum into the position, we wish Councillor Crum all the best in his new position which brings the current Councillor numbers to seventeen. There is one final position currently locked into the election process.
At October’s Full Council meeting, vacancies across the Councils Committees were reviewed and the following appointments were made:
- Councillor Tom O’Sullivan joins The Finance & Properties Committee, The Planning Committee and The Staffing Committee.
- Councillor Paul Crum joins The Communities Committee.
- Councillor Paul Tilzey joins The Climate Change & Environment Committee
This Council term ends in May 2021 where all eighteen seats will be open for election.
