Very unfortunately, the roundabout in the Bencoolen playpark is going to take a lot longer to fix than we initially thought.
It needs a new full bearing assembly which unfortunately is made to order, and won’t be dispatched until the end of October. Work will begin week commencing 14 November, and will take three days.
We appreciate how disappointing this is, particularly with the summer holidays upon us, but it’s out of our hands, unfortunately. The only silver lining is that, due to the newness of the park, it is still under guarantee and the cost of repair and re-installation is being picked up by the supplier.
