Protect Your Community:
Become a Flood Emergency Volunteer

Could You Help Your Community in a Time of Crisis?

Flooding can happen suddenly—how would you respond? Bude-Stratton Town Council is inviting local residents to step up and become Community Emergency Volunteers, ready to protect and support our town when it’s needed most.

What Is the Emergency Flood Plan?

In partnership with Cornwall Community Flood Forum, we’re creating an Emergency Flood Plan that will equip our community with the resources, advice and structure needed to respond to flooding events.

Who Can Be a Community Emergency Volunteer?

We’re recruiting a team of Community Emergency Volunteers—people like you—who can take action, before, during and after a flood. You’ll be trained to work alongside Emergency Services or even provide vital support on your own if needed.

How Can Volunteers Make a Difference?

With your local knowledge and swift response, you could make all the difference in keeping people safe and reducing the impact on our community.

Volunteers will receive full training and Personal Protective Equipment, so you’ll be ready to act confidently and safely when it matters most.

Ready to Join?

This is your chance to play a key role in protecting Bude and Stratton during an emergency. Could you be one of the volunteers who steps forward?

To register as a volunteer or for more information, please contact Bude-Stratton Town Council at office@bude-stratton.gov.uk or call 01288 353 576. Let’s stand strong together and be ready.

Be Ready. Be Resilient. Be the Difference.
