Operational amends to the grants policy were adopted at Full Council recently and the website has been updated accordingly. The application form remains the same and all applications received to date are still entirely valid. The single biggest change to the policy was that applicants now have an opportunity to discuss their project in person with Cllrs prior to the final decision made at Full Council.
The deadline for the second round of grants is 31 December, 2022, and decisions will be reached at a Grant Awards public meeting on January 26. There is £9k in the pot for this round of funding, so if you are a community group or individual working on a project with a real benefit to the residents of Bude & Stratton, you could start 2023 with a financial boost to help get your plans off the ground.
