Pedestrian and Cycling Improvements at The Strand

We would like to inform the community about upcoming roadworks at The Strand, Bude, being carried out by Cormac on behalf of Cornwall Council. These works aim to enhance local infrastructure with various pedestrian and cycling improvements.

Cormac has initiated a consultation process for the Bude Cycle Network – The Strand. This is an opportunity for residents and stakeholders to provide their feedback on the proposed improvements. The consultation is open for comments until 31st July 2024.

Details of the proposed improvements can be found in the PDF plans below. To participate in the consultation, you can:

1. Use Cornwall Council’s Consultation finder: This online facility allows you to view and respond to traffic consultations. Visit www.cornwall.gov.uk/TrafficConsult to register and submit your responses to this and other current traffic consultations.
2. Email Infrastructure Design: Send your responses to traffic@cormacltd.co.uk, quoting the scheme name and reference, and indicating your support or objection to the proposals.
3. Respond in writing: Fill out the Consultation Response Form, indicating your support or objection to the proposals, and return it to the address shown at the bottom of the form.
