Policing Plan Survey

Devon and Cornwall Police & Crime Commissioner Launches Consultation on New Police and Crime Plan

The Police and Crime Commissioner for Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly, Alison Hernandez, has launched a public consultation on her third Police and Crime Plan. This strategic document outlines the direction for policing and the services that are commissioned to keep communities safe.

The Commissioner, who has been in office since 2016, has led initiatives aimed at tackling dangerous driving, reducing violence and supporting the recruitment of record police numbers. The new draft Police and Crime Plan for 2025-29 will focus on key areas of concern such as drugs and alcohol misuse, antisocial behaviour, violence and theft.

Alison Hernandez is seeking residents’ input to ensure the plan addresses the issues that matter most to people in Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Residents are invited to share their views by completing a short online survey, accessible here. The consultation is open until midnight on Sunday, 27 October.

In addition to the survey, a series of engagement events will be held across the region. Dates of these events can be found on the Police and Crime Commissioner’s website: Devon and Cornwall Police and Crime Commissioner.
