The Compass Point Project

The Storm Tower at Compass Point is at serious risk from falling into the sea due to coastal erosion. Now is our chance Save Our Storm Tower!

In 2020, Bude-Stratton Town Council began working on the process of saving the Storm Tower at Compass Point. A Heritage Impact Assessment (HIA) was undertaken in conjunction with Cornwall Council, it recommended the tower is moved inland at an estimated cost of £350,000.

On Thursday 14th January 2021, Bude-Stratton Town Council voted unanimously in favour of supporting The Compass Point Project.

We are now calling on you our community to help support the project and save this iconic landmark from falling into the sea below.
