Late in July Bude Friends of the Earth (including three of our Cllrs) scythed the grass in the Community Orchard and baled it up, our facilities team collected 25 bales from the orchard and spread the bales, containing wildflower seeds, onto one of the wilder areas on Summerleaze Downs.
We hope this will continue to promote the wild flowers and grasses on Summerleaze downs in the years to come.
