Bude Library and Information Service is run by by Bude-Stratton Town Council in partnership with Cornwall Council. Located on the Wharf in the lower part of The Castle grounds.
The staff and volunteers work hard to offer a variety of interesting activities for the community. These include; a drop-in home educator’s group, Bude library book group, the very popular Rhyme Time session, Knit and Natter Group and Lego Club.
As well as these activities you can access public computers and the internet, participate in community puzzles, meet others, and play games all within within the library. Of course you can also hire books, ebooks and DVDs. Bude’s library also boasts a large selection of local history books for those avid historians.
Inside you will find Cornwall Council’s one stop shop which provides access and information relating to Cornwall Council’s services. Seagull proof rubbish sacks can also be purchased here for £3.50 as well as replacement recycling bags.
Young or old joining the library is easy! Drop by to sign up or join online to make use of all these fabulous resources. You don’t have to live within a Bude-Stratton postcode to use the Library either. Library membership is free to everyone living, working or studying in Cornwall and Devon including Torbay and Plymouth, for more than one month.
