Bude hosts RNA AGM

Bude Hosts RNA South West Area AGM for the First Time

Bude-Stratton Town Council was pleased to welcome delegates from across the South West to the Royal Naval Association (RNA) Area Annual General Meeting, held at the Parkhouse Centre on 17 January 2026.

Deputy Mayor Viki Herbert-Coulson officially opened the meeting, welcoming attendees to Bude and highlighting the town’s connection to the Royal Navy and the wider military community. This marked the first time the RNA Area AGM has been hosted in Bude, bringing around 30 delegates together for the event.

The meeting included prayers from Deacon Debbie Marsh, and a selection of Cornish pasties was provided for attendees. Council representatives were delighted to support the RNA in their ongoing work connecting and supporting serving and former members of the Royal Navy.

Bude-Stratton Town Council looks forward to welcoming similar events in the future, strengthening the town’s links with military associations and the wider community.
