There are six public toilets in Bude that are maintained by Bude-Stratton Town Council. Some have baby changing facilities included and disabled toilets, all toilets are free to use.

  • Summerleaze Beach- including a specialised changing places toilet.
  • Crooklets Beach
  • The Crescent car park – located next to the Tourist Information Centre
  • Poughill Village – Multi-use with disabled toilet only, at the moment. 
  • Stratton Village- Multi-use with disabled toilet only, at the moment. 
  • Foyer Toilets- on Summerleaze Crescent, the lane between Bude Post Office & Spencer Thorn Bookshop. Partially open following a leak. One standard toilet and one disabled toilet are currently available. The second standard toilet will reopen once the replacement door has been fitted.

To access the separate disabled toilets, you will require a Radar key. You can buy these online for a small price, or you can purchase one at the Town Council offices in the Parkhouse Community Centre.

Summerleaze and Crooklets Beach Toilets also have shower facilities to use at a cost of 50p. A 50p piece is required.

Summer season (26 July – 6 September 2025): Open 24 hours
All other times: Open daily from 6am – 8pm

Stratton & Poughill:
Open daily, 8am – 5pm
