Local Elections 2025 – Statements of Persons Nominated
Cornwall Council has now published the official Statements of Persons Nominated for the upcoming local elections. These outline the individuals who have put themselves forward for election to both Cornwall Council and Bude-Stratton Town Council.
Now that nominations have closed, we can confirm whether each ward will hold an election. This depends on how many people were nominated compared to how many seats are available:
Bude Ward – Bude-Stratton Town Council
Seats available: 11 People nominated: 12
An election will take place in this ward, as more candidates have come forward than there are seats. Residents in Bude Ward will be able to vote on Thursday 1 May 2025
Hele Ward – Bude-Stratton Town Council
Seats available: 1 People nominated: 1

Stratton Ward – Bude-Stratton Town Council
Seats available: 6 People nominated: 3
